Tag video problem in medieval 2 total war v1.3

hello guys,
i install this game (medieval 2 total war) recently on vista and just after that update it from 1.00 to 1.2 and then 1.2 to 1.3.
my problem is that the videos are not shown by the game. i mean that when a marriage, a video is play, but the is blank screen only. this is happening with all videoes.
i have ---
windows vista ultimate 32bit
intel p4 3ghz
2 gb ddr2 ram
6800gt gfx card
other games like devil may cry 4, company of heroes, gta sa, etc. are running without any problem
