Default Share ur Xperience about short term courses


HI friends..

I have started this thread to create some awareness about job oriented short-term courses related to hardware / software those who are not much known about the wealthy/health way to go in software/hardware field. the max duration of the course should be a year.
pl share your experience here .(your exp may be in the way of website/blogs/etc..)

i would also like to see with the following info.

>level of knowledge in the particular required to study

Well,

this is my course details

What position I am currently in: Im a graduate, a B.E I.T Engineer, completed my engineering in June,2008 from Mumbai University.

Course: Core and Advanced Java+Oracle 9i as backend

Course Duration: Core+Adv Java (2+2 months), Oracle 9i (2.5 months)

Institute: NIIT, Mumbai

Fees: Rs.17,000 for core+adv Java (have not paid for Oracle 9i)

Certification Expected after course completion: SUN+NIIT certified Java course

Extra certification: Appearing for SCJP (SUN's JAVA certification exam) after the course completion as my scjp ticket is valid untill June,09

Level of knowledge required: C/C++ programming concepts

Job Opportunity: I have plans of doing Core+Adv. Java along with Oracle 9i (certification) so tat I can get into the industry as a DBA along with java learned fresher (also will do MBA later)
