cant unhide hidden files

hi guys, when i try to unhide my hidden files via tools>folder options>view> show hidden files.
it doesnt show my hidden files instead it would revert back to donot show hidden files
i know this is caused by some virus

and one more thing the anti virus has removed the infected file called regserv.exe is there any way to restore it????

ok i removed th virus using avast updated version{4.8} then i used the attached file to fix that
and for those who have some problem of opening of derive like after virus infection and inspite of removing the virus when you try to open the derive it would either say access denied or woud open a window asking to choose a program to open with {that same thing happened to me after removing virus from my portable hdd} u just need to delete the autorun.inf file left behind by the virus
autorun.inf is not the virus by itself but it helps to initiate the virus
