Default 945 G MOBO

HI , I am planning to buy GIGABYTE GA-8I945G PRO mobo based on
intel 945 g chipset .. planning to use 3.2 ghz or 3.4 ghz proci now ..

maybe after 6-7 months ..switch to dual core proci ..

now is this mobo good ? anyone has used it earlier ? and what should be its estimated cost ?

also I am not into gaming .. hence 945 g chipset instead of 945 p or 955 x

.. I mean chipset with onboard graphics... maybe later I will upgrade to 6600 gt or something ..

also suggest any better mobo based on 945 g chipset than this one ..

so guys pls give ur advice ..

for 945G go here http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/945g/index.htm

and for 945P go here http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/945p/index.htm

if u r not a hardcore gamer and as u said u r not gonna put a external gpu than this mobo will serve ur needs.its shud cost u some where around 6-7k.u can also check for ASUS P5LD2-V (945G chipset) or MSI 945G Platinum (945G chipset).

Gigabyte is a very good company making good boards but their only problem is in their service network in India. Asus is the most preferred coz of its good service/support. and MSI is the second best option to go for. But since u r from Mumbai i dont think u will have any probs with service , so go for Gigabyte dude.

one last question ...

soon in jan 2006 intel will be releasing 65 nm single core codenamed cedal mill and dual core presler .. some reputed sites have reviewed these procis . and they claim to have better performance and less heating problem than the current 90 nm line up and also better overclocking abilities .. so the question is will 945 g chipset mobos support these processors apart from the extreme edition ? ..

also intel will release processors based on new architecture somewhere in june -july 2006 .. will those supported on current 945 line up ?

somebody has any idea?

or they release some new chipsets for it as usual ?
