Default laptop dvd drive + orange juice

hi

my laptop dvd drive was open n orange juice fell on it...i immediately shutdown and then kept the drive open

cleaned as much as i could wid tissues

then i put it next a fan for a long time 2 dry up

but now even tho power comes 2 it, it dont read disks wich i expected and its kinda sticky wenever i try 2 eject it...jerky...

is there anything i can do at home or i gotta take it 2 da service center? will this b covered under warranty? will they b able 2 replace just the drive? and if so, will it be really really expensive?

thanks

ps-its a sony vaio VGN-S28GP

it will obviously be not covered in warranty! get it to service center. i dun think you need to replace it. they should be able to fix it.
