benq scanner

I am planning to buy a scanner for basic use of scanning documents....

Thus my budget is under 3000.

I am getting Benq 4300 for Rs 2000 + Vat 4%

but the things is the model is a pretty old one and it has 600*1200dpi and Usb 1.1 connectivity.

So I am little afraid to buy it.

My budget is very tight but I thought that if I invest another 500 bucks I will able to get New model from Umax Astra supporting Usb 2.0 .

I am unable to decide whether investing this extra money will worth or not
