[Query] who handles Seasonic RMA?

how is the RMA for seasonic psu?
Is it at par with corsair i.e. as corsair replaces the whole product without asking any query through kaizen does tirupati do the same?

i think you are unnecessarily giving this much thought to the matter.if you are so concerned about rma then get corsair.it has 3 yr warranty & i doubt if a psu which keeps running fine for 3 yr will go bad in 4th yr not to mention you will most probably upgrade your system after 4 years with a new psu.

i am not giving any unneccesary thought as i want to look before i leap. Being a family man and not under care of father(most of the TDF MEMBERS are) I need to invest money very carefully.

I have no qn regarding CORSAIR RMA as i have done that for myself and mine contains 5 yrs warranty. So is seasonic.
Now before switching to Seasonic i need to know its RMA process from any experienced guy. As simple as that.
I may or may not upgrade my system after 4 yrs and that is a different issue and it might happen that after 4yrs also i want to switch over to Seasonic and the same qns will pop up then. So better to know it now.

take it easy.it is not like you are going to buy a car.a family man should not worry about a difference of 500 because if he does then future is not good i am afraid.also about investing money you would get much better results if you spend your time studying share markets,insurance policy,home loans,mutual funds,education loans etc because these are the things which a family man should be thinking about not whether to buy corsair or seasonic.

cmon guys leave it.btw avichandana,i am using seasonic from last 10 days and the warranty will be handled by one who imports it to India.it is highly unlikely for a branded psu like sea sonic to die before warranty.even if it dies give it to the dealer from whom you bought it.if he doesn't replace kick his ***.i am pretty sure that it is not handeled by rashi atleastso don't worry about thinking highly unlike things and go ahead and buy seasonic.
btw congrats for being a family man as you have the freedom to spend the money however you want not like us where we have to ask our parents for it.

i know it is unlikely. But no one gurantees an electronic product to be 100% perfect. In that case i need to know the RMA process. It is handled by tirupathi. So Just want to know whether tirupati is another Rashi Or not.
I am enjoying this freedom for the past 10 years.

k on topic you can give it to the dealer and you can buy it from a dealer you find reliable btw you are me making me to get bit worried.

hey link me to that thread i want to know the age of all the members.i heard gs600 is a good psu but still seasonic s12 II series performs better than gs600 and has more efficiency and ultra quiet.vx 450 is nothing but seasonic s12 II series with corsair brand thats it.

i had rmaed the s12ii 620 two weeks ago.. they replaced the unit in 2 hours flat if you live in smaller cities they will mail you the replacement.. otherwise same day replacement atleast in bangalore..

@sukesh : will give the link tomorrow as doing TDF from mobile is a pain in $$$. I know 450 vx is a seasonic oem. Best option will be to buy a 550watt.vx. But as it is not avlbl i thought of seasonic directly.

With the words of sukesh, harry and mrcool i think i should go with seasonic then. If bangalore can do why not kolkata. Moreover i found no good reviews regarding gs600 as it is with vx from corsair or s12 frm seasonic.

Tirupati handel corsair and seasonic, I asked him regarding psu that i want a corsair tx650v2 and I was talking like a fanboy and almost with zero technical knowledge, who just see for brand name.-)) because i just wanted to check how they gona recommend me some psu and the guy really gave me proper reasons to get a seasonic over corsair, if I'm really tight on budget, he even told me that both(new models) been manufactured by same oem, other than brand name and warranty period they are almost use same components and rma process would the same, just like corsair, if faulty and unrepairable they will give me new sealed one just like corsair rma.
P.s: Tirupati Delhi. But still there's noting wrong about buying corsair, leaving the cost part as they earned it, after long service in Indian market while seasonic is a newcomer here.

Don't have any direct experience with them. I would say, go to any reliable computer shop where shop owner knows you and ask for his opinion. Shop owners know the behavior of their retail chain partners and if he really knows you (being a long time customer or something like that) he will tell you the truth & then you can make the best decision.
I can't see any way other than that as you will see very few people using seasonic PSUs in Kolkata and fewer people have send their PSU for RMA at any point of time.

Tirupathi enterprises distributes and handles RMA. But do make sure that they're giving a new psu and not repaired. A lot of company guys, irrespective of the brand (well- atleast the tier 1s) have insisted/instructed dealers/distri to replace the unit and send a particular lot specifically for full replacement. If there are issues, you know whom to be in touch with.

I am asking as i am planing to buy one of the Seasonic PSU. i dont know how their service is, but the 5 and 7 year warranty is good.

But do we need to send it to Tirupati, do they have centers in Mumbai.. ad sorry but i dont know to whom we can be in touch with ?

I think they do have centres in Mumbai. I am not sure where, but maybe the distributor sticker on the package will have that information.
