looking for good speakers,please help

i am looking for a 5.1 speakers for a budget 4000 Rs.can anybody please suggest any goodones. should i go with creative or altec lansing for this budget.

Well, iBALL speakers (approx rs.3200/-) are also good ones, i hv been using them since a year and NOT a single problem.. here is the pic of my speakers:




Also, there is an option that u can either turn ON a 2.1 speakers setup or 5.1 speakers setup (via the remote or manually thru the woofer).

I agree that ppl jus go for Altec or creative, but these are not bad at all, infact a really good crystal clear sound and they are FULL WOOD speakers so no problem of interference, jus not at all..

Wenever u go to a store, listen to all the speakers and judge urself.. I do not hv a sound card but these speakers are jus awesome for me.

Altec Lansing's the generally preferred one, however I agree, you should take a closer look (mean close hearing actually!) at the sound output while you're buying them.
