New pc upgrade....

hey ppl...4 yrs down the line i think its time for me to upgrade my pc....
usage is 10 hrs a day...
do play games... like nfscarbon...prostreet...
budget is 10k---- only upgrade CPU MOBO RAM HDD.
Plz suggest....

Current config too low to wite here.... but i have played NFSMW on it...so its ok...

Also plz suggest a gud GPU coz i may need and nowadays MOBOs dnt come wid onboard.

Basic Guide Purchase a New System

As per my point of view
1. Intel DG33FB G33 Express Chip 1333 FSB = Rs. 4700
2. Proc C2D 2.2 GHz E4500-(2MB L2 cache 2.00Ghz 800MHz)= Rs4800 3. Transcend DDR 2 1 GB 800 Mhz = Rs.1075

What is the intended use of this machine? Since you are buying the E4000 series I suppose there isn't any heavy usage of this machine. In that case, you can save 1k by buying DG31 mobo instead.

the pc is mostly used for scripting purposes n the net everyday ...5 days a week...runs for 8 hrs everyday wid da net...

Save that 1k and invest in RAM by buying DG31 then.

If you want a config within 10K, try:

Jetway 692G Mobo - 2.5k
AMD Athlon X2 4000+ - 2.5K - overclock it
1 GB DDR2 800 RAM - 2k
250 GB 16mb buffer SATA II HDD - 3k

or,

any geforce 630i mobo or intel mobo within range - 3.5k
Core Duo E2160 - 2.5K
DDR2 800 RAM 2GB - 2k
160GB HDD SATA II 16 mb buffer - 2k

in both cases you need to overclock the processor to get the maximum juice out of it.
