Default Re: normal facility in window xp

The Option is Available in XP too! But its only Disabled by Default!

Tools -> Folder Options -> View (tab) -> Untick 'Use Simple file sharing' at the bottom of the List and Click Apply!

Goto the folder you want to Restrict, Right Click it -> Properties -> Security (tab)

Click Add, Enter the Username, Click OK.

Select the Added user from the List, Tick All Permissions to 'Deny', And there you have it!

One Warning though: Only modify the Permissions per-user! i.e. Add the User and modify it! DO NOT modify the Main Administrators or Users Super-Account! You'll lose access to your own Folders

(Wow! How many forums do you visit!)

Edit: You've posted in a totally wrong section BTW
