Hello friend..I wanna give u some tips for selecting a camera
1. 5+ Megapixel is useless(unless u wanna print a poster)
2. 3x Optical zoom is ok(bigger is better)...digital zoom useless
3. Li-on is good as its easily rechargable(better backup)...AA cell is sometimes useful coz its available everywhere.
4. iso- my sony digicam have 400-1600....but not that useful in daily use
5. Aperture and shutterspeed may be useful for Pros...but in regular use u dont wanna set a pic for 5 mins and then shoot it

...sorry I cant help in this
6. Video recording is good to have...but takes lots of battery and memory.
7. prefer SD card wala camera..its cheaper...olympus and sony have there own memory cards which r costly.
8. Image stabalizer is somewhat useful....but not really necessary.
9. look for sleek form factor....and 2.5-3 inch lcd is good
