Re: quake in mumbai pune
It was no big deal (at least in Mumbai). 4 point something on Richter scale. I was awake and didn't notice or feel a thing. Nothing so far on news channels too and I hope it stays that way. July has been a bad month already with all these bombs and rains.

Re: quake in mumbai pune
I came to know about it by this forum. Not felt anything and nobody seems to have an idea here in pune about the quake.

I doubt if there was any damage, me and phreakout both felt it and discussed it on IRC channel in the night, but it was too light to cause damage, except maybe some minor ones.

Re: quake in mumbai pune
From Wikipedia
Quote:
|
Mumbai sits on a seismically active zone owing to the presence of three fault lines in the vicinity. The area is classified as a Zone III region, which means an earthquake of up to magnitude 6.5 on the Richter-scale may be expected.
|
At 4.2, however, such quakes are pretty small to notice
