Default Man in India jailed for caring for orphaned bear

In this undated photo, Ram Singh Munda, 35, rides a bicycle with his pet sloth bear Rani in Gahatagaon village, about 125 miles (200 kilometers) north of Bhubaneswar, India. When wildlife officials learned of Munda, who brought the orphaned bear cub home from the forests of eastern India, where it became part of the family, he was arrested and jailed for violating wildlife laws, the bear was sent to a zoo where it's refusing to eat and his abandoned six-year-old daughter has been shipped off to a state-run boarding school. We need to make the law and legal process way more humane!
The real and only freedom is Public Domain. Everything else in unfree! Even those who claim to be the self styled evangelists of freedom are not free because freedom cannot be forced by any means!

I feel govt should help him have a better place and stay with bear rather then separating them.. At least they will learn about taking better care of animals that they feel between their own earth humans and not some so called "Social Animals"

WTF....That bear is just like his pet....And they both love each other....And why the hell was he arrested??.....He should be rewarded for saving that bear's life.....But anyways, we are in India.....

IMO, we should not keep the animal in zoo if they don't wish to remain.....They also have their own rights....Some animals feel OK being in the zoo, thats fine but not this poor bear who doesn't want to stay in the zoo.....

This is just plain sad . The real crooks are getting away with it and some poor person gets arrested for taking care of an animal. Way to go %$@%$@#%$#.
