these guys are selling ATI Radeon HD3870 512MB OverClocked at 130$. I wonder if anyone here has access to it. Its surely a steal.

Its as cheap as HD6550 is in India

Ati cards are dirt cheap abroad. But in India they comes for high prices.

I found out that in some benchmarks, HD4870(single) beats 9800GX2 by 30% without effort

the older 1950XTX killed 7900GT and 7950GT. and 7950GX2 got unstable even at stock speeds.nd insanely overpriced.
And then HD 3870 X2 killed 8800GTX/Ultra/GTS 512 and 8800GT SLI.
nd u say nvidia didnt had ny compatition !!! wake up man
ATI is much ahead of nvidia in cutting edge technology., nd HD 4870 is just a proof[DX 10.1, GDDR5, 480 hader units, 55nm etc]

i agree man but this has only happened recently.. in 2007 ATi havent been competitive(hd 2000 series) thats all.. My bad i didnt put my point across properly.

nvidia is facing good competition. In the hardware market, its Intel who isn't facing any proper competition..
ATi rocks... And 130$ is a killer price for that card... Wish i had the cash to buy one...
