Named in honor of Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, the Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.
Didn't get the satire? To put it in a more humane nature, it's for those ppl who died by their own foolishness. Real funny deaths. What an oxymoron these morons gave us!
Death by sex, by drinking (the wrong way!), the Kalidasa kill, bear-nakedness, self-electrocution... u name it... just look at the wide range of methods these supposedly capable guyz devise to kill themselves !
