Re: Google moon
They got only the pictures of the location where the appollo series landing were perfomed, not the entire moon. why is there no US flags on moon where they landed... there is no atmosphear on moon so nothing would have happended to the flags and they should have been still there.
Change is Nature, the part that we can influence; and it starts when we decide.
Where you going?
With Luck forward.

Re: Google moon
The images are not from Google camera's. Google is planning to make available the real images of the moon via Google earth. I hope you all know about the conspiracy theory of Apollo mission.
This is what Google moon says about the courtesy of images:
Unless untill we see the real pictures from Google earth or any other such trusted sources, it's hard to believe it.The data used to create the Visible and Elevation layers, as well as some of the high-resolution maps used in the Apollo layers, are courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey.
Much of the rest of the material for the Apollo layer is derived from NASA's Apollo Lunar Surface Journal.
The USGS Geologic Atlas of the Moon, the Lunar Chart (LAC) Series, and some Apollo imagery are provided by the Lunar and Planetary Institute, managed by USRA.Last edited by Kiran.dks; 19-10-2007 at 08:45 AM.
