HP unveils comprehensive product portfolio to improve business dexterity for SMBs
Building on its position as a leading provider of technology solutions to Small and Medium Businesses in Asia Pacific, HP announced one of its broadest-ever enhancements to the HP Smart Office portfolio of computing, imaging, and printing products and solutions targeted at the high-growth segment in Asia Pacific.
The vendor announced a refreshed SMB portal which now accelerates easy access to interactive solutions and information for SMBs. HP also launched a superior HP Total Care program in Asia Pacific, further enhancing one of the industry's most comprehensive lifecycle support and service program for customers of all types.
"SMBs are growing at a rapid rate in Asia Pacific, and to enhance the way our SMB customers experience technology, HP has launched Total Care, which offers forward thinking businesses innovative, practical and personal solutions to help their business become more competitive," said Adrian Koch, senior vice president, Personal Systems Group, HP APJ
SMBs are increasing IT investments in an array of areas, including computing, infrastructure, data storage, security, mobility and applications development and deployment. It is quite good news for IT vendors that are offering solutions to key areas of SMB's concerns.
HP also expanded its portfolio of imaging and printing products to improve business agility for SMBs. The company expanded its LaserJet portfolio with two new color multifunction printers, one monochrome all-in-one, one color single-function LaserJet printer, and two monochrome single-function LaserJet printers; including a scanning solution.
Speaking at the event, Janice Lim, director, Business Imaging and Printing Group, HP APJ, affirmed that, "with these introductions, HP continues to deliver business printing and imaging solutions at price and productivity levels that offer customers even more value."
Additionally, HP also launched customized printing services like HP Easy Printer Care Software and HP Marketing Assistant Software to help achieve greater visibility across the business, stronger cost and resource control and improved quality output. The new line-up of printers is designed to deliver significant cost savings for those SMBs seeking reduced total cost of ownership.
The vendor also expanded the industry's broadest portfolio of computing products with technology and leading client management solutions designed and engineered to simplify business customers' most troublesome IT concerns and to ensure that important business data stays protected, meeting the critical needs of SMBs. The range includes one personal workstation, five business desktop products and three business display products.
The latest suite of products can support the Intel Core 2 Duo processors and Intel vPro technology to benefit from energy-saving computing performance, as well as technologies that enhance desktop PC security and manageability.
