With stiff competition surfacing in the mobile arena, Google’s Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt has declared intention to support Android-based handset makers, reports Reuters. This support will be offered in the form of information sharing, industry expertise and access to Google’s patents for legal requirements. As we know, Samsung and HTC are in dispute with Apple over patents. Analysts are seeing this as a way to attack Android.
