Fury at school 'mock hanging'

The Australian authorities have ordered an inquiry after a boy fell with a rope around his neck during a mock hanging staged as part of a school activity.

The student was being photographed as part of a staged crime scene at Laidley State High school in Queensland when he slipped and fell, officials said.

Fellow students said he turned blue as teachers rushed to cut the rope at the school near Brisbane.

Poor kid! What a shocking news! Too much interactivity in classes foten results in such things.

I know of a similar incident that took place in my town, but in this one, the teacher was more responsible for this death. A teacher used a chalkboard duster to beat a student down to death (A class XII student). I actually knew that student. He was in my school when he was in class X. The teacher got off scot free of course, in spite of the evidence provided by his fellow students.
