Re: New Zealand company hires hacker
Don't call him a hacker. The right term for computer experts who use their knowledge for illegal activities is a cracker

Re: New Zealand company hires hacker
Well, the differentiation of the terms based on the moral denominator of the actions has become redundant, so he can very well be termed a hacker.

Re: New Zealand company hires hacker
There IS a strong difference between the terms. A cracker is a type of hacker. A cracker is to hacker what thief is to human. I hope you understand how dumb it sounds when you say "New Zealand company hires hacker". Its like saying "Police hires human" when the actual situation is that the police hired a theaf to go undercover.
