omg....
height of computer influence in daily life and craziness...! what if he had lost his palm in the accident!!!..  would he have it replaced with a wireless mouse..

What a news!!! He should have replaced his thumb with a thumb drive instead of that finger, though!
 And what will he do when the next version of USB specifications are released and if they are not backward compatible???
