Help!

I watch a lot of movies. Sometimes I have this green lines on the side of the screen which just irritate me. They are only present in some movies and only in XP. If I watch them in Ubuntu..... they are not there. Even on my friend's PC (he has XP)... they DONT show up. Whats the problem with my XP then ? I am using K-Lite Mega Codec Pack with Media Player Classic.

Did ur friend using the same player tat u use..K-Lite with MP Classic....????
I suggest you to use VLC Media Player and let see what happens with that....

^^Lemme try..... I have VLC installed.

PS. :- Query solved..... changing my media player to Windows Media Player worked....... thanks to rajkumar_pb for replying .

What abt VLC Media Player.. Isn't working?

If its working on WMP then why try VLC...... though I will try later and post here .

Decoder faults, it once was worse on Ubuntu too. This used to be the output I got midway through many files:


Much irritating than those green lines?
