Default Installing new font

Dear friends,
I am a new member of this forum.
I am using a computer with win Xp Pro OS. Recently when i was browsing a site with some regional language, i wanted to install a new font which I downloaded from the site. From control panel, fonts folder, when I was trying to install new font, there was no option of 'install new font' was shown in the file menu. I tried many times differently but couldnt succeed. Is there anything more I should see or know to install this new font ???
Kindly suggest something friends.

use tweakui to reset the fonts folder and then install the font. if u have any problems, just copy the font file to the c:\windows\fonts folder. that should do it.

Do this : First open the folder where the font that is to be installed is located .. Now .. Do this ..
Start > Fonts
Now drag the font file to the Fonts window.. It will be installed automatically ..

yes! simply drag the font file to the FONTS folder. or use copy-pase. still doesnt work means the font is not compatible (which has very very less chances)
