Default lost in codecs


i use intervideo software to capture tv programs but it records only in mpeg format. can some one tell me how to convert .mpeg1 to .avi or or any other windows media format?

or can any one suggest a better pvr/ tv veiwing software?
ps: i have a play tv pro card from pixelveiw (wdm)

Try Fly2000Tv its good.
but the one that comes with pixelview is good so why change.

well so far the best convertors are Blaze Converter /TMPGEnc /Flask mpg and Virtual Dub(i guess)

install nimo codec pak or k-lite codec pack..then capture ur tv proggies in avi thru virtual dub...
simple as all's free !!

hi i tried all options but i found xps own moviemaker 2 the best choice only u have to join the clips manully.

there are many converter around just do a google and you will get more than 100 results

better still , use Dr Divx . it jas that live capture option for ur tv ( havnt ever tried it )

capture directly 2 divx
