Angry HOW to partition a Hard disk

Hi everyone,

I just now bought my first lappy. it's HP dv6910TX , a new model from HP dv6700 series. But now i face a problem with it. i,m not able to partition the HDD (320GB). I tried partitioning it using vista disk management., but the problem i'm facing is that this disk management says only 141GB out of my whopping 320GB can be separated. I,m not able to partition it according to my need. I dont need a 150GB C:/ drive with windows on it. Also tried partition magic..but its not compatible with vista.

HOw can i Do it ?

Anyone facing same problem lyk me in a HP laptop?

Please gimme a step by step guide to do it as i am not a tech savvy.......

Get Gparted Live CD. That is free, opensource and will do the work.

Get it from - http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php
