Please Suggest me Best est Indian Paid Webhost

Hey Friends,

Right now my blog is on freehostia. The service is quite good but the thing is that more the number of visitors more is he CPU usgae in the free plan.

Freehostia set a daily limit of 1.3% CPU Usage. 2 Months back my friend was hosting a blog on freehosta, one of his tutorial on some linux topic got a tremendous amount of stumbling round the world and as a result his CPU limit exceeded due to hefty no. of simultaneous visitors. He didn't read the warning messages sent by freehostia and get kicked after 3 days. He left blogging after that

Well the problem rather say restriction that a blogger feels on freehostia are as follows:

1. 1.3% CPU usage imit
2. 10 MB - MYSQL Database - Which approximately gets filled up after 400 posts.

Well please suggest me the best est webhost here in India. I don't have credit card neither a paypal account, so cant take foregn hosts.

Kindly suggest the best est Indian paid wbehost that don't have the above mentioned limitations and also can tolerate these hefty Digg and Stumble Upon Effects without any problem

Bloggers have to suffer a lot due to usage of Scripts and growing blogger archive. After selecting the host I don't want to compromise at all, say the host is sending me e-mail your site is heavy on our servers... please take proper action.... please kill the visitors... please remove AD's.... Please Kill yourself....

Whats the use of Wordpress Cache to the Visitors who drop in first time to the blog. I think it's good for repeat visitors...

^It does not help cache your pages on visitor's browser, but creates a cache of YOUR webpages that are stored on YOUR server. So instead of running the PHP-MySQL operations everytime, it just sends the cached HTML file.

Firstly, there is no such thing as Indian Webhost as nearly all data centers are hosted outside india. there are few people who have thier own data center in india but that costly like hell.

So mostly you would be dealing with resellers of International hosting companies. these resellers would speak your language and are happy to take payment in your local currency. these hard working people can be called "Indian Webhost". but anyways, your site would still be hosted at some data center of planet one

Although there is nothing bad getting hosting from Reseller, infact its more convenient.
But just make sure you aren't dealing with any One man army

There is nothing special of Indian Webhosts. There is nothing special for "Anycountry" webhosts. All depends where the servers are located. Forget India.....there is no cheap bandwidth here

Almost all the production Webhosting Servers are in UK and US.

Coming to supporting a big traffic forum or blog. Well no one on the planet will do that. Who wants a 5$ a month client pushing the limits of 100$ server and he listening to 50 other people on server regarding server speed?

When your sites gets popular, you will need to move out of shared hosting and buy a SMALL VPS with DEDICATED resources. You will then have root control of the VPS and can play with it to optimize Apache and MySQL or even install other Webservers like Lighttpd, ngnix, Litespeed etc

http://www.angelsvista.com : they provide hosting services on servers similar to that of google servers......i.e. they provide local caching of webpages, so low latency for users. They provide customized plans if needed by their customers.....recently they hav became partners with google. It is a Cochin based company, started by some of my seniors.

PS: I think the site is temporally down for few hours now. Google to know more abt it.

yeah!! but it is a lot different from other VPSes.. on top of their shared hosting plan we can just choose a certain CPU and RAM limit and you dont get 'root' also

why not try byethost for their freehosting plans....no cpu limit per day(only per month),no max mysql db size....my experiance was good....but only downside is that outgoing connections are blocked.

if u decide to go for paid hosting try Host4cheap ( I already ordered a plan here and the order is in progress so looking forward to some gr8 hosting) BTW i got a lotta +ve feedback for host4cheap from many fellow Digit members.

Depends from Host to Host. They might reject it during Fraud Signup scanning
