Here's a partial quote from his FAQ for the program:

Q. What does it do??
>>As the name suggests, it can erase Hard-Disks of any size and number connected to a system and does it as quick as possible. It can erase hard-disks under a minute if the system is a decent one with decent amount of RAM.

Q. In which Windows does it work??
>>The program runs in any Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP) and even DOS provided that the file system is FAT or FAT32. I cannot assure that the program runs with Ntfs volumes coz I have never tried it myself.

Q. How do I use it??
>>It is very simple. Just double click the EXE provided and it will do the job. The computer will then restart automatically and you can see the drives. DO NOT RUN IT ON YOUR COMPUTER YOURSELF coz you are likely to suffer a lot if you do. You can barely recover a byte of the data. Even programs like Norton (r) Goback can't help.

Q. Can I use it for destroying others' hard-disk??
>>Yes and no. If you get someone to run this exe on someone's computer, they will have their data lost (including Windows) and will barely be able to recover it. However, doing this may result in you going to jail. I wanna explain that my program is meant for quickly erasing your own disks and not for harming somebody.

Q. I downloaded your program and my AntiVirus says that it is a virus. What do I do??
>>Yes. AVs may report it as a virus coz it can cause harm to your computer if you run it. It just erases all your disks. May be, your AV assumes that you are being tricked into it. If you want to download and use the program, turn your AV or its Real-Time protection off and retry downloading. DO NOT RUN THE EXE, if you dont want your data lost.

I actually ran it on my computer (what the heck!) (whose drives are either running NTFS5 or ext3) and all I got was a "Invalid parameter - /autotest" and it tried to restart my computer, and since I wasn't in the mood to allow it to restart, I killed it with the
shutdown -a
command. Don't know if it works, because nothing was lost when I restarted the PC normally. (I had already backed everything up on DVD+R, so no issues there!)

It works on FAT32 for sure................ Have killed a lot of HDDs already...................

I tried doing a similar program for our college mini - project.
Worked fine in Os'es like Win 98 n Win ME.
But d same program failed in Win 2000 and above operating systems.
(Dunno how u managed doin that!). It fired a fatal error to me.

Also in case u do manage to make d program run on NTFS partitions... do lemme know.
