Please help and suggest - Presentation for high school students and teachers

OK, it goes like this.

I am planning to do two presentations next month in the school where I studied (16 yrs back).

Presentations - Will be done using Openoffice and Linux. Sorry, no flame wars. This is needed because they are not supposed to use Windows (I am allowed to use win for presentation, but personally I think it is not fair). But that doesn't matter. Topic and details are more important.

1. For students.

Topic : Use of internet, how to make most out of it, making money using ethical ways.

My plan : Explaining various ways to get maximum useful information from internet as well as ethical ways of making money.

Various websites which helps in studying, blogs, writing articles, art work, design work, placing ads in sites, selling items online, introduction to forums, Freelancing, social networking websites, mailing lists etc.

2. For teachers.

Topic : Dangers in internet, how to prevent them and how to guide the children.

My plan : Misuse of internet (lol, no, I am not against porn or something, but things get serious when people start posting real life photos in internet), cyber crimes, misuse of mobile phones, internet security (online transactions and related matters), privacy in internet, dangers of social networking websites. Of course not a full-negative-sense presentation, I will be explaining the positive sides with equal importance as well.

I need suggestions from you regarding both the presentations. Like

What are all topic / sections I can include - which will be useful for the students and teachers. They are all new to internet (got broadband connection in school 2-3 months back only), so everything helps.

Any good websites for open office presentation templates and resources.

Please help.

And tell the school PC admins to use Opera instead of the default IE. You may want to include some Google search tips.

Like I said before, tell them about some Google search tips. It'll be useful to search for info. And teach them about blogging. Those topics will be useful....

Google search tips - great idea, never thought of it before.

Default IE - No, all machines are running on customized Debian. No IE.

I do not mind at all, but problem is, I prepared it in Malayalam (the language in Kerala), as they are malayalam medium students. Mostly form the malayalam wikipedia, from some blogs etc.
