Default Buying a new PC

I want to buy a new PC within Rs.25000/-
I am going to buy the parts from Lamington Road.
If anybody knows any dealer in Lamington Road who has the lowest prices around then please let me know.
I have decided to purchase the following components

Processor : Intel Core2Duo E7200 2.5GHz
Motherboard : EVGA 112-CK-NF77-A1
RAM : Transcend 2GB DDR2 800
Optical Drive : Samsung SH-S203
Hard Disk : Western Digital Caviar 160GB
Speakers : Artis S111R
Cabinet : iBall i648
Monitor : Samsung Syncmaster 943BW
Keyboard and Mouse Combo : Logitech Internet Pro Desktop

Am I getting the best of my budget???????
If not then what suggestions???????????????
Other than the PC for 25k I would also like to purchace a TV Tuner Card and a Graphics Card
I think I should go for the following

Graphics Card : Zotac 9500GT
TV Tuner Card : PixelView Play TV Pro 3

Are there other better options available?????????

^^ I think it has nVidia 7150. But since Mihir is buying 9500GT, it doesn' matter right?

@Mihir, I pick MSI P45 Neo-F over this one when you are going for dedicated GPU

Go for MSI P35 Neo F or Palit N35A..
For gfx card go for Palit 9600GT or EVGA 8800GS(Here in Bazaar section)
Sure that would be lil bit better than ur current prediction.....

Want to stick with ur budget take these Mobos in considerations .. Palit N73V for 2.7k and XFX 630i for 3k...
XpertVision 9600GT costs around 5.5k here in TE...
EVGA 8800GS for 5k..(Yep.. used one but looks good)

The EVGA 112-CK-NF77-A1 which I mentioned is based on the nForce 630i chipset itself.
The Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H is a board which is also similarly priced to the EVGA.
But it nvidia 7100 and 3 sata ports whereas the EVGA has nvidia geforce7150 and 4 sata ports. thats wats made me think of EVGA. Can u mention the model nos. of the boards u mentioned??????? Also, I dont think 8800 will cost me just 5000 bucks. I think it should cost more
I asked a dealer the cost of MSI P45 Neo
It costs 8300rs.
I want a motherboard for around 4000 rs.

Well MSI P35 Neo-F costs around 5.5k....

I suggest the following -->>

E7200 + XFX 630i + 2GB DDR2 800MHz + Palit 9600GSO + Seagate 250GB HDD + Zebronics Bijli cabby + Altec Lansing BXR1121 2.1 speakers + LG H55n optical drive + Logitech Multimedia Keyboard/Mouse.

MSI P45 F-Neo is available for 5.5k-6k.

This one's FSB goes up to 1600MHz

other good features:

DDR2 667/800/1066
1 16x PCIe 2.0 ready
6 sata2 ports
upto 12 USB ports
gigabit lan

XFX 630i is another superb board that comes with DVI,VGA and HDMI ports. But one problem with this is that it has only 2 DIMM slots for RAM. People like me love to use all 4 slots

^^^ xfx 630i should cost less than 5k (may be around 3.6k-3.7k)

http://www.chotocheeta.com/2008/01/2...d-core-system/

that is our own Chotocheeta's detailed review of this mobo and he recommends it

coming to monitor, go for Dell 198WFP. it's the best in 19".

I would pick MSI P45 Neo-F over 630i because of it's more features like two extra RAm modules, pcie 2.0 compliant pcie slot. Moreover, it doesn't matter how good the onboard GPU is as you will be using PCIe graphics Right?

Yes. I am using it and I don't regret saying that it is the best.

costs 9.1k-10k now.

Zero1 award winner (check January 2008 issue).

Even if you take other dell monitors 20"/22"/24",they are rated as one of the best in most of the tech sites. No wonder that Dell makes the best displays.

I have a query. Please help me out with this.

I want to buy an internal TV Tuner Card. I have heard that it needs a cable point for that. I have a cable point near my PC but I am quickly going to discontinue the cable services as I will be having TATA SKY. When I discontinue the cable services, will the TV Tuner Card Work????????

Please Help !!!!!!!
