Default What server is accessed.....................


Hi guyz,

does any of you know how to find what server is being accessed from my computer, by a browser or an application.........

please tell me........

bah....zone alarm sux.....try x-netstat to know which host ur connected to when u surf a forum/webpage...to know the server type u have to telnet the page.

ya its simple. Open ur browser then while the page is downloading open Command Promt and type netstat

From when did ZoneAlarm provide facility for viewing connections from a certain computer?

For the author, I have a piece of suggestion. Though, netstat is good its not definitve. You can use some 3rd party tools like 3D Traceroute or port sniffers and monitors to get a detailed knowledge.

Then you can always perform a whois of the IP address to confirm ur doubts.
