hdd casing doubt...
i want to use my old HDD with USB...i heard that i can be cased.....but my hdd is IDE type...can IDE HDD cased??

Yes, you can case it. You can get a local IDD casing starting at around 300 bucks. But try to get a branded casing if possible.

Yeah it's possible.
But remember it won't be rugged as external drives. If you plan to transport it, do it safely.

An OS has to be installed on the HDD to use it...???

No. It will be detected as a removable drive in windows just like your pendrive.
