WMP got the wrong album info!

the story goes like this.

I bought the original ROck On audio cd, popped it into my DVD drive on my comp, fired up WMP11, selected the CD....

poof....

I see altogether different tracklist, and the artist is David Essex!!! The album name is Rock On.

Then i fire up Itunes, select the CD and i get the correct tracklists and artist.

WMP is still showing David Essex and it has also downloaded the album art for it (dumb WMP)

anybody got a work around, except for adding names manually. I know i can play audio cd on all players but i prefer listening to my music on wmp.

Similar thing has happened to me. I got Princeton Review's TOEFL Audio CD. WMP 11 identified it as some a pop collection cd with tracks of Britney spears & madona!

I too had a funny experience.
Kya Mujhe Pyar Hai by K.K has an artwork of Anup Jalota.(bhajan and the ghazal singer)
