Question Please someone suggest any PCIe 2.0 Mother board

My frnd is assembling a new computer with the Palit HD4850 gcard and needs a mobo with PCIe 2.0 support.Is there any such mobos under 6K?
Also will HD4850 work well with PCIe 1.0?

For which proccy... Intel or AMD..
Checkout the Gigabyte and ASUS website and u may find one, but i m not sure...
