virtual box & actual harddisk!!?

i use virtual box in vista.
installed fedora 9 in that.
can i use my actual hard disk.. in the virtual version of OS.

I didnt get your Question.
But lets see if this answers it:
When you create a Virtual HDD, the fedora files are installed on it.
This Virtual HDD file will be with some .vdi or something extention.
It will occupy the same amount of space that you might have specified when configuring the Virtual HDD.
Thus, VirtualBox uses your actual HDD to make a .vdi file which acts as your partition on your fedora 9.

^thanx bro but u made u misunderstand my qus....
lets make it more clear...

i have some of my files in my hard disk...
than i installed virtual os using virtual harddisk...

but now the files which i can access from my virtual os are only which are saved in virtual HDD

but i want to access the files priviously saved (not in vdd) from virtual os interface...

....hope this makes it clear...
