Recently I have bought HP DV6910US notebook with Vista Home pre installed. HDD 200 GB, RAM 3 GB AMD Turion TL60 Processor. In Vista it came with 2 partitions. Primary partition shows 173.5 GB and rest as secondary. As a whole it show 186.2 GB space where as it should be more.
I want to install Windows XP Professional and resize the partitions. The problem is while installing XP it shows only 131 GB of total space. How to recover the lost space of my HDD. Is there any HDD lock or something like that which HP has on the HDD for which i can not use full HDD space in Windows XP Professional.
Please help me.
