Paypal Questions

I guess I might need Paypal but I have the following question:
(1) How does Paypal work with my credit card?
(2) Is there a monthly/periodic charge for Paypal or only during transactions?
(3) What exactly is the difference between Personal and Premier Paypal accounts? Would they charge periodically for a Premier account?
And should I really take Personal or Premier Paypal account?
(4) I have a Visa Barclaycard. Will it be OK?
(5) And is it safe enough (I know nothing can be safe for certain) but is it safe enough for occassional usage?

Sharing your Experiences with Paypal would also be greatly appreciated.

1: Just register, add your card, do shopping and pay by paypal thats it
2:nope its free
3:in premier you will be charged on receiving money read their terms, you should open personal account unless you are into online biz
4: it will be ok
5: perfectly safe

1) A credit card is needed to verify your paypal account. Once you use CC to verify your paypal account, you can use CC to send money to any other paypal account.

2) No fee, its free.

3) https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/w...p-fees-outside

4) All CC works. So this sud also work.

5) Its safe, no doubt.

I have decided the to take the services of web host you recommended, but for payment I needed a paypal account(I know there are bank transfers and all but I would be more comfortable with something like Paypal) and I am here just enquiring about PayPal.
Since my doubts have been cleared I'm going ahead to get the web host.

paypal always suxx .. limiting our a/c for faltoo reason .... and never unlimiting our a/c evn if v submit legal docs.... Bware of Hackerzzz ... sum1 hacked my a/c and wasted my money on ebay!!! ( .........

I would REQUEST YOU not to choose paypal if u want to b outside trouble.........

use egold, Liberty reserve, Web money instead of dat paypal ...... paypal is branch of ebay only but ebay is far better than paypal :-X

The stories there are really misleading for paypal users
Yes, paypal does have its flaws which are highlighted there
But doesnt mean that it is totally a problem
It has greatly helped many (read:millions) across the world and is a great service.
This is just my view, although it is unfortunate that your account was misused
