hard disk dvd rom Led activity.

Hello every one, today i brought a soni DVD writer.when ever its LED lights there, my hard disk LED as well show activity.its quite annoying for me.
except thats its working fine.my DVD rom is running on secondary master and hard disk on primery master channel.

Yes i'm confused really.because preveious also i had soni DVD writer(never used LG or samsung)and that was never be case with that. this dvd writer running on ultra dma mode 4 and previous was on ultra dma mode 2.

Can u tell me how is it annoying as in most cases the CPU would be on either side of monitor or down..so it would be hard to notice the lights when u r working on your computer unless you are watching a movie with lights turned off , the pc lights may annoy you then.
