Registry locked. Help me out

Hi all. I'm Dharmit from Ahmedabad, India. I've locked my Windows Vista Registry by usin the tweaks that I read in an ebook. I've the backup of the registry. But when I double-click it, it shows a message that I can't modify it because of the administrator's restrictions. I'm the sole user of my laptop. Can you please show me some a way out of this other than formatting C drive.
