Need info on different X-DVD Rips

I need information on different rips of movies that we get on various torrent sites. What is the difference between Pre-DVD Rip and EUDVD rips? What are their sources?

PS: I am not promoting piracy. Just need this info.

The PreDVD and EUDVD rips are normally the camrip's which are released itself on the day when the movie is released.The running shows are recorded through a camera hence the name CamRip.
PreDvDs are released prior to the official released of DVD's.So dont expect better quality here.
EU (European Union)DVD's
Since they are camrip's the quality is awful ...
If u want some quality better wait for DVD Rips.

But i have seen that the pre and eu dvd rips are far more better in quality than cam rips. Moreover in pre or eu rips sometimes there are cuts between scenes and you can see things like "Finish" or "end of part 12" etc. I am also confused as to what is meant by European Union (EU) DVD.
