Default CrossfireX on a SLI board???


I saw that in the this month's digit mag review of dell XPS 730...two ATI in crossfire on a nvidia 790i board which is a SLI board...how is that possible?? Can we do that??

that would be a X2 card

crossfire aint supported on Nforce board

but in the review it is give that the two cards are in crossfire which is very unheard of...

yea i read that and even in the pic its 2 cards .but specs show 3870x2 which is practically a single card occupyin a single slot.

ppl at nforce forums also asked the same when this was out.

Crossfire is not supported by nVidia board.

^^Yup. Onl Scalable Link interface is supported AFAIK.

Get a good Intel based Gigabyte board if ur looking for Crossfire.
