Hard Drive Issues

I bought a Western Digital WD3200AAKS 320GB SATA HDD, i have an intel D102ggc2 motherboard. my problem is that when i try to install xp on my hdd, the setup displays my hard disk's capacity only around 130GB. but when i run vista setup, it displays the correct capacity as 298.01GB. Please help me out.

well, its the problem with the s./ware and not ur HDD... to say the least..so it sbetter u check the capacity in computer mgmt (of XP in control panel)

even i use XP PRO SP3 and 'HDD health' detects my seagate 160 GB SATA internal hdd as only 130 GB.. but wen i see it in computer mgmt, it shows 160 GB so im ok with that until I get the full said capacity of HDD..
