^ +1 for Samsung displays.

Don't go for wireless keyb and mouse unless you have some very genuine and strong reasons. You'll always find yourself running out of batts.

For tadaka gaming ... Wireless keyborards and mouse are a complete NO.

OS ... Vista Ultimate.
RAM ... 2GB DDR2
Board ... 965 set is good due to good onboard graphics.

But if good gaming is your priority save some money by buying 945 set and atleast get an 8600GT for 3.5k

Just install Media Player Classic.
Ii has all the codecs.
Then u can play .rm files easily.

Or download Real Media Player.

OS --> Vista Ultimate SP1
Mobo --> Abit IP35e
CPU -->> Intel C2D E8200
HDD -->> Seagate 250GB 7200.11
GPU -->> Zotac 9600GT OR if on a tight budget, get Palit 9600GSO.

Install KLite Mega Codec Pack and forget abt ur codec problems.

You don't need E8200, get the E7200 and OC it to 3GHz, a sweet spot indeed.
Get 2*1GB DDR2 800MHz RAM.
And finally, 9600GSO @ 6.4k or 9600GT @ 7.5k or 9800GT @ 8.3k.
