Default DVD RW qurie! Pease Help ! SOS!

I have a celeron 733 Mhz
128 Mb of ram
Intel 810e mother board
a combo drive
and a seagate 20 GB HDD.

My question is can i have a DVD writer connected to my PC.
MY hardware dealer says that my PC lacks short of processing speed
& RAM.
HE says that U need to have at least a 800 Mhz processor
and 256 Mb of RAM . (As he read in the user manual)
Is he right and it is a time for an upgrade or
can a DVD RW work well with this configuration.
I really wanna write DVD's. TIME NO BAR!
SOS! PLEASE HELP!

He's partly right. A DVD Writer wouldn't work very well with your PC. I guess you would have to burn DVD's at the lowest possible speed to make it work. Please get some more RAM. It's very cheap now.
