10k! i want 2 512mb ddr sd ram cards within 5k. maybe i won't go for ddr2 if it so costly.

LOL ! You asked for the best and btw the Corsair 533Mhz costs 14k for 512Mb.

A single Hynix DDR400 512Mb bank will cost ya 3800/-, forget abt two within 5k.

unless ofcourse then u decide for lower speed ram @333mhz
actually that wont make a diff either ... it'll be for 3250 each
still not in budget
sorry dude
u can go for 1 512 mb ram for now
anyways which mobo are u using ?

go for a lowr speed ram if ur budget is hampering u .

or else u can go for a single stick with more speed and u can add the second stick later.
