Default Help: To design a form, in webpage

Hi all

Am planning to design a web page which has a form (user information wl b filled) in it. I need to do this in d most simple way possible. As i dont know SQL,....

I am ready to learn it and do, if i can learn those quickly in 1,2 days.

And the way i am thinking now in my mind is using php mail command. Even to php i am new, but found this command somehow.

Can i use .php file to execute the back end process of sending mail of the user filled data to me?? i saw code like this...
mail("mail id", $var1, $var2);

Wl this work??

If i can use this way, Wl all the hosting server support this php mail option??

And i also currently need a free hosting site to test b4 i use a paid hosting server,
So can any1 recommend me the free hosting website with support to my php mail option>>??

& i saw in 110mb.com this is paid service.
i tried, the code in 50webs.com.. but on submission of form.. am not getting mail.

Am awaiting for replis..

HI ganesh....

Software : Bluevoda website builder ..its free....

Hosting Website that allows PHP mailing..on request ..for free : x10hosting.com

how to make : use the above software.... it doesnt give oyu the HTML file directly....but when you view it in your browser (the page you made) you can see the path wer the HTML file is stored...

copy the file from ther...and upload it to the webhosting site...

The mail command is used as you have posted....yes you can use a php file to post the data entered by the user to your email address...

reply if you are interested...

w3schools is the best reference on the net..mayb not for some people...
try this link

I will suggest you best and simple method. Get a paid hosting ...it will hardly cost Rs. 300-1000/- per year.

And install any cms, like Drupal. Installing Drupal from cpanel using fantastico is 2 minute job. Using any CMS, you can do your work very easily and you dont need to learn any coding.
