Default DUMeter Issue

Hi Folks,

I've just installed DUMeter for the first time, and there's something terribly wrong with either DUMeter of my System.

The Graphs shows a constant use of 27+kb/sec of download data and it doesnt even stop for a second even tough I close everything, even my msn messenger.

Is that normal or there's something killing my bandwidth?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

But I'm connected through a LAN Card, and if I select Dial-up, it shows no activity at all, stays at '0'. And if my LAN Card is selected, it works the same way as I mentioned above.

I believe, there's something killing my bandwidth terribly, what could it be?

Hi Chinmay,

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I just Full formatted my system making my C Drive and had Norton Systemworks 2005 - with Norton Antivirus 2005 - installed.

Norton seemed to be acting up on, so I successfully uninstalled it and Installed 'Avast Professional Edition'.

My Internet is of a local cable guy, they colocate in PrimeNet Datacenter. Connection is stable usually, but it isnt too good since last few days. I connect through a Lan Card as mentioned earlier.

Following is my HijackThis Log:
