strangely conencting to other's pcs on sify

sometimes shows other ppl and their few files which maybe they have put on sharing shows up in rythmbox mostly only songs and videos

i can see his IP address from within rythmbox. so is DAAP a protocol for LAN sharing?
am on sify bband in mumbai.

Still you missing some words and punctuations. But what I can get from it is that you want to copy some porn from some computers on your LAN. So you can go to Places > Network server and find out computers connected to your LAN. You may need to install sabclient.

ok first of all i want to copy files from lan yes
but am not sure if even lan exists (anyone on sify in mumbia can confirm?)
secondly the installation of ubuntu 8.04 does not show me any connected computers when i go to places-> network servers. just an icon for windows network and that too is empty.
so should i install sabclient and it will work?
