permission needed to post pics on blog?

hi, im writing a blog. i needed to post a picture about a politician and looked up google for it and found one on a certain website. the site said the picture was from AP photos. can i just put that pic on my blog? is some kinda permission necessary or should i just say that the pic is from AP photos? (in my blog posting).

I think you can mention the copyright information and also give the link to the site..rt? unless

1) You are not using for commercial interest

2)they have mentioned never use it anywhere else without permission.

hmm.. i think putting up a link to that photo will be too much.. how about just mentioning something like "source-ap photos"...?
