Default GF FX 5200 problem Help Plzzz!!!!


i own a pixelview GF FX 5200 128 mb. my fan stopped functioning.. company techies ask 750 for repair.. ok 2 pay?? i'm gonna sell it n upgrade real soon.

plzz m8s i gotta tell by day after tomorrow...help me out.

Was the card under warranty ? Has it expired ?

Unless you are planning to upgrade real soon, get the card repaired. However 750/- is on the higher side i think.

and i bet u didnt ask them what the problem was
well even if u owned a multimeter maybe we could help u figure out if its the fan or the pins on the card
guess u dun have an option
get it done and sell it off

i asked them.. they said they'd have to replace fan. what abt the pins what happens if they have a problem?

the prblem came after i left my pc 2 download for 2 days..

see dude
if theres a problem with ur card then its possible the pins arent supplying voltage to ur fan
so if its just ur fan u can get those mini fans from the market for like what 50/100 bucks
but the thing is ur gonn have to figure out how to mount them by urself. ... and the pins structure has to be the same ...
so u see the diff ?

i asked at lamington ,mumbai and they told me it could repaired
for bang 250 buks
150 for the fan 100 for labour
