The latest is 500GB single disk in sata and pata interface is available.

Transfer rate
sata = 150MBps/ 300MBps
PATA = 133MBPS (max)
connection
sata point to point 7 wires
pata point to multipoint (2) 40/80wires

I am using a seagate sata 160GB 7200 drive and i get 53 - 32MBps

People recommed not to buy from outlets there because of no warranty & duplicate items.

Anyway I will be going there next week to check out other stuff too

hey me too got the 160 gb seagate drive but its not sata..i get a transfer speed of 80MBps
